This administration is trying to create plausible deniability. Between executive orders by Tweet, firing people by email, and planning military ops by Signal, they are communicating outside of normal channels so that they can claim it was “hackers”.

Almost everyone can do something. We can affect the oligarchs by limiting our participation in the economy. Buy generic goods, shop local, start a garden, barter with your neighbors, organize community potlucks, repair instead of replacing, use the library, cook at home. Every small action helps.

Outsourcing our detention camps doesn’t make it any less reprehensible.
I want you to understand this is happening in our name and we know most of these men committed no crimes. One is a professional soccer player who was tortured in Venezuela and was working through asylum in the U.S. ICE shipped him for his Real Madrid tattoo and a picture throwing rock & roll horns.

My wallet is closed. The oligarchy that is dismantling our government and using the chaos to further enrich themselves while healthcare, food assistance, education, and veterans’ care is stripped from our citizens will not benefit from my business. My spending will be limited to essentials.

Let’s talk reality: moving manufacturing plants from overseas to the US will take years. Plants have to built, employees hired, equipment moved, etc. You will be paying more due to the tariffs for quite some time.

It is clear that we are going to have to fight tooth and nail to keep our earned benefits, environmental, health, and safety regulations, and equal rights for all. We won’t win every battle. It is clear that our federal government won’t help, but we still have each other. Find your community.
