Well, shit. I don't understand all I know about the internal workings of the hierarchy of the Democrats. I won't rush to judgement, but so far, I don't like what I see. I'm likely to remain independent.

I can scarcely believe that we are under an administration so inhumane that it will starve people, intending them to complain to their congressfolk that they would prefer cessation of their healthcare to starvation.

I am a believer in the constitution. It has fundaments of democracy enshrined in it. It can be amended. Once we gather the political and popular strength, we must amend more guardrails into it to keep the president honest.
