Trump had a choice, maintain a functioning democracy and legitimately strive for peace, he made a conscious decision to line his pockets, wreck the US economy and become a dictator.

These are the actions of a cornered rat, trump cannot even do Fascism successfully. The US is in a very precarious place, will the GOP actually realise what this means, there shall be no government or gravy train once trumps starts his civil war.
Trump directs his secretary of war to send troops to Portland and use full force on protesters if necessary. He is looking to create a conflict where none exists, purely to silence his opponents.
