Volatility Shares announces $UVIX reverse split *finally*, 1:10 effective 15-January-2025.
In the last six months $UVIX has had an impressive number of round trips below and above $5. The first sub $5 close was 8-July-2024, then high of $19.97 (!) on 5-Aug-2024.

This phenomenon of big percentage moves in the $VIX reacting to relatively small $SPX moves seems to be getting even more sensitive. I'd be inclined to dismiss them as noise, which they are from a volatility points standpoint, but the investable VIX futures are reacting too,

Regarding $VIX's big 74% move today, $VOLI, a volatility measure from NaTIONs Indexes that uses the implied volatility of at-the-money $SPY options was up 46% vs the $VIX's 74%. This is despite having a lower basis from yesterday (11.61) than the VIX's (15.87).

The Cboe's brand new $CBTX/$MBTX options on bitcoin are off to a slow start. Might be having technical glitches, thinkorswim is not even showing $CBTX option chains. Only a handful of trades showing for MBTX, the 1/10 notional size options.

Cboe is rolling out a new Bitcoin-based index, CBTX, with options on it starting December 2nd. It's an initiative to replicate their highly successful S&P 500-based SPX option products in the $BTC space.
