This is a clean sketch of three mouse girls and one much smaller mouse boy. It went well. Don't wanna blog too much about this stuff but was just really excited to try doing it. Followed the video as closely as possible without improvisation or substitution. 👍
Assortment of plated spices needed for Japanese style curry sauce. Hearty Japanese-style curry. Excellent flavor. Cubed chicken, onion, garlic, carrots, green cabbage, yellow potatoes, in homemade Japanese curry sauce all served over a bed of Jasmine rice, topped with a light shake of salt (just needed a wee bit more, may add more soy sauce next time). Very delicious.

Some recent doodlins I thought I'd post before I finish up a fun lil piece.

Some recent stuff.

She has no nose, has freckles, thick eyebrows, pointy teeth sticking out of her closed mouth, and large hands. I dunno. Just a random doodle. I like doin character stuff. Quick sketch of a goblin in leather armor (plus some metal components here and there). Mostly just wanted to draw an unusual head shape. He has gauntlets, asymmetrical pauldron, chestplate, a leather belt strapped over some cloth pants, and boots. He's also wearing a simple helmet (skull cap I think?) and is brandishing a large slightly worn/chipped cutlass-like weapon. Some silhouettes. Hard to describe but I'll say that this is a fun sort of 2D sculpting exercise I enjoy doing. You just blot down some initial shapes to vaguely explore for a gesture of some kind. A pose or some sort of body plus head plus legs materializes pretty quickly. After that it's shaping up the edges, pushing bits in, popping bits out, just sort of giving an impression of a character and all their various clothes and accessories. A silly thing I made where a really exaggerated character with cartoonishly exaggerated mean expression leans to the side, his right finger waggling at a hypothetical person out of frame. He is saying "I RESPECTFULLY DISAGREE, SISTER FUCKER!" The joke is that it's not respectful. Also calling someone a sister fucker (usually opposed to mother fucker) sounds funny to me.
