This was this farmer's last bog, the smallest, being harvested this year. The 3rd shot is him walking away. It is WRONG to go to a bog after harvest and get the "leftovers." Farmers will tell you you need to buy them at the market to keep them in business. It really bothers them when ppl do that.

The end of the harvest 2025- the last berries harvested this season. We celebrate our farmers on Cape Cod - this is a dying industry, this farmer, a friend, has been slowly giving bogs to conservation and rewilding.

I raise monarchs and tag some of them heading to Mexico - a successful release means they fly UP. Thanks for saving it from a spider web - did you know 95% of caterpillars die in the wild, mostly from predators - lack of adequate milkweed supplies also.

Successfully released 5 more monarchs today. Lower numbers than 2021's high of 999 releases- more like 50 mostly fall-heading-to-mexico-big-strong monarch releases. Success is flying up high. PLANT MILKWEED!! They cannot survive without it.

PLANT MILKWEED! I raise monarch butterflies from egg to butterfly in cages in a tent outside, w/as little interference as possible, protecting them from predators, supplying them w/milkweed as not enough is available where the eggs are found. I tag some of them via monarchwatch.org - U of Kansas.

I raise monarchs in cages. 95% of cats die by predators in the wild and in places where pesticides are used, like my area where mosquito treatments are popular it's 99% mortality. It's a lot of work, changing cages etc. But it is important. They will eat all these leaves tonight. Plant milkweed!

When you finally meet the guy whose been threatening you & your friends. Dude's been instigating hate against our Indivisible groups telling people to take up arms to be ready for war. LOL-we had pictures of him when he was a successful lawyer. Now? Just a shell of hatred smelling of ciggys & booze!

He is essentially declaring MARTIAL LAW to use the National Guard against citizens:
"Martial law involves the temporary substitution of military authority for civilian rule and is usually invoked in time of war, rebellion, or natural disaster."

I am crushed to learn about Victoria's passing. She lost her wife to cancer and then that evil beast took her. I hope that she believed, when she passed, that We the People would make sure that good eventually will triumph over evil.

We are ready to contact our congressman. Our very large, too-large, refund for a tax returned filed via Turbo Tax. The return was accepted within 48 hrs. THE REFUND IS IN NEVER NEVER LAND. Are there KNOWN delays?? Anyone? @angrystaffer.bsky.social do you know?
