Used books are a low-cost way to see if you like what an author has to offer. If you do find you like them, then you can buy their next book new, possibly from the same bookseller. They're also a way to get books no longer in print.

When I think about Joe & Mika appeasing Trump so they can maintain their comfy lives, I think about Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss enduring years of harassment for simply doing their jobs.
So when Joe defends it by saying people need to live in the real world, he should respectfully go screw himself.

They didn’t sound the alarm before the election because tariffs give them cover to price gouge on top of the price increases.
Walmart CFO to CNBC: Look, as we have said before, our goal is to be the low price leader...but increased tariffs will increase prices for our customers.

There are currently only 22 films streaming on Netflix made before 1980 and not a single one made before 1960, with the oldest film on the platform currently being PSYCHO. I know I’m a broken record but: buy physical media, support your local library, etc etc

Y'all the plasterers finally finished my house today (until a little right before my new kitchen goes in), & after priming & painting, i can FINALLY start fully moving into my bedroom at last!
