I've been pretty swamped with prep for the upcoming workshop this weekend; plus I got sick, so had to muddle through that.
IDK how much I'm going to be posting here on BlueSky this summer. I have a lot of tasks on the table. I'll try to pop in once a week at least.

These two little sh*ts went on an adventure yesterday & nearly gave my mother a heart attack. Hours of looking & calling had zero results. The poor woman was nearly in tears. Who comes waddling up covered in mud at 7:15 that night?

I've been hesitant to talk about my new project because it can be a hot-button issue for folks, but this morning at 10:00 I'm launching my new YouTube channel, "The Secular Scriptures," where I read and then discuss the Bible as a text from historic, literary, and modern social perspectives.

The ducks aren't playing a new game, they have just found a new field to play an old favorite in. The game is called "chase the cats around the whole yard." It is a wonderful game (according to the ducks). The cats are less than amused.

I know it's hard to find places to take them, and shelters usually cost money. I get it. I still want you to try to rehome responsibly.

Starting in a couple weeks through the end of June, we'll have a lot of abandoned bunnies and chickens. While I detest the practice of buying pets for holidays, it is, unfortunately, still common. Please do not turn domestic animals loose in the wild. They die horrible deaths.
