I missed #BlueSkyArtShow yesterday, but this cheeky little black-beaked gull needed to visit the interwebs again.

I present you with 2 of the same graph. One (no longer) on our government websites that is truthful but abbreviated for readability, and the other, poorly altered by me in MS Paint to show a clearer representation of the numbers.
Posted for absolutely no pertinent reason today.

I'm seriously struggling with the Noah's Flood video. It's a chonker, and I dislike the order of things, and I can't read Utnapishtom's account without crying. I think I just need to suck it up, quit fiddling & publish the thing.
Here's a bad timeline that you may find helpful.

I've been pretty swamped with prep for the upcoming workshop this weekend; plus I got sick, so had to muddle through that.
IDK how much I'm going to be posting here on BlueSky this summer. I have a lot of tasks on the table. I'll try to pop in once a week at least.

These two little sh*ts went on an adventure yesterday & nearly gave my mother a heart attack. Hours of looking & calling had zero results. The poor woman was nearly in tears. Who comes waddling up covered in mud at 7:15 that night?
I'm glad the troublemakers are home.

I've been hesitant to talk about my new project because it can be a hot-button issue for folks, but this morning at 10:00 I'm launching my new YouTube channel, "The Secular Scriptures," where I read and then discuss the Bible as a text from historic, literary, and modern social perspectives.

It's that time of year here! Lilacs have burst out in bloom.
If you are in the Rochester NY area, get thee to the Lilac Festival.

#BlueSkyArtShow, #Earth
OK OK, it's Flat Earth, and it's not finished, but I can't stop cackling madly at this silly little 40 mm diagram of silliness.
I kinda wanna make a cake that looks like this and then stick the cloche over it.

The ducks aren't playing a new game, they have just found a new field to play an old favorite in. The game is called "chase the cats around the whole yard." It is a wonderful game (according to the ducks). The cats are less than amused.
"Safe" is up on something, under something, or up a hill.

I know it's hard to find places to take them, and shelters usually cost money. I get it. I still want you to try to rehome responsibly.
Fluffernutter was a responsibly rehomed rabbit, and an absolute joy.

Starting in a couple weeks through the end of June, we'll have a lot of abandoned bunnies and chickens. While I detest the practice of buying pets for holidays, it is, unfortunately, still common. Please do not turn domestic animals loose in the wild. They die horrible deaths.

I always love how this bush looks when it's backlit in the evenings.
