That's pretty scary, we have black bear but honestly they are usually too busy dumpster diving to bother people on the trail. I have run into bison sitting on the trail at antelope island, and it was similar - did my best to not disturb as I carefully found another path.

Oh wow I really like the rocks in the river, their color, their details, reminds me of some of the formations I have seen in southern Utah while canyoneering. Specifically the water canyon/zion area by Hurricane UT

Every. single. day. :( I thought it would get easier once I was medically retired, but other symptoms disrupt the executive functioning I learned in therapy enough that the ADHD really goes to town. :(

I don't think it's anything I'm comfortable having it see the light of day on the Internet but maybe if I finish both portraits of my PC I will for comparisons and also if I stick with it and want to show my progress.

It IS a great question. I know a trick that might help you depending on if you can be active and stuff. The VA is huge on recreational therapy for trauma processing, and I found that if I exercised after therapy it really helped. And studies show that as well. Especially if I was in nature.
