Finally, Al Meezan Sovereign Fund updates its benchmark. However, the job isn’t done. All the Islamic money market funds are using the irrelevant benchmark of bank deposit rates. SECP and MUFAP should update the benchmark for Islamic money market funds. open.substack.com/pub/dmkm/p/i...

The Profit magazine had reached out to the mutual funds and published their response. In the next post, I said that their response raises more questions (10 questions to be exact) than it answered.
