A lot of people have a real problem with the concept of fiction. Like, if something's 'canon' it actually happened in some alternate universe somewhere. Same deal with people who attack soap actors who play evil characters.

I liked it well enough. They really leaned into pulp, bordering on corny. It's like a YA movie/kid movie. Note that no humans get killed in it.

It all turns into the same 'teacher from peanuts' blah blah blah. Like this particular one, it talks about intelligence but doesn't have any nuance like attempting to define what intelligence is.
