Doesn’t look like much but I made this soup with black trumpet mushrooms, shallots and chestnuts, which are all abundant when in season here.

I baked today. On top of making a really nice quiche with leftover roasted rosemary potatoes & gruyere, I made a killer Zwetschgenkuchen. Some food porn.

Zwetschgenkuchen mit Streusel. I could never make this in the States because we don’t grow this type of plum. One of my all time favorites.

I’ve loved all my dogs beyond measure, somehow this one needed me a tiny bit more than the rest. Fritzi looked 8 when he was over 15. His impressive athleticism persisted right up until his cancer diagnosis, which we didn’t get until his mass had ruptured. I got 10 days. My bestie & constant shadow
