Ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have. — James Baldwin
This is why we get shitty corporate candidates and why Democrats have lower polling numbers than Republicans as a party.

It’s absurd to pretend that having the weight of the party behind a candidate doesn’t have an effect on a primary, especially one decided by less than a point. Maybe the continuous refrain that a progressive candidate can’t win a general, I don’t know, scares voters into believing it?

Came for Mantzoukas, stayed for the hilarity.

If you’re not involving Paul F. Tompkins, long-time fan of the show and Taskmaster podcast guest, in the tour, you’re missing out.

He won the primary in part because they put their thumb on the scale for an anti-choice, corrupt scumbag who supports Trump. In what way does that kind of “Democrat” help advance their agenda?

Second, Nazis needed compliance to take power. We’re seeing large numbers of Dems roll over and act like lapdogs because they’re scared, or corrupt, or clueless, or complicit. That must be called out. When “leaders” like Jefferies say stuff like Dems won’t impeach Hegseth, that’s obeying in advance.

Clearly. That goes without saying. Two things, though. First, I hold Dems to a higher standard. I expect nothing from an inherently racist, sexist, political party. Dems are supposed to be the party of civil rights, labor rights, and human rights. Can we stipulate that Nazis are bad?

Beat me to it.

Of course they stood by and watched. They chose to put their weight behind him against a progressive primary challenger after Roe was overturned. A corrupt, anti-choice DINO was preferable to a progressive Democrat. Pelosi and Clyburn backed him in a race he won by less a point. Deplorable.

“Defund the police” was never about abolishing the police. It was about holding them accountable for lawlessness and racism and not giving them a blank check, siphoning other municipal resources. Taxpayers shouldn’t fund Cop City and armored vehicles at the expense of teachers and social services.

“You must be stupid.”

“I’m not the one who thought there were Revolutionary War airports, dumbass.”

Good for him, but a day late and a dollar short. Perhaps instead of rubber-stamping Trump sycophants in a misguided or cynical nod to bipartisanship, Dems like Kelly should have done everything to block Trump’s agenda from day one.

The Biden presidency? They’re trying to undo the FDR presidency. Hell, the Lincoln presidency. The Washington presidency, even.

Can we even call it a newspaper anymore? The new age of yellow “journalism.”

It’s almost as if traitors to the U.S. have taken control and are finding any way possible to kill Americans.
