The way I literally just this week drew enough Octodog art to fill this perfectly.

I don't usually draw portraits, and when I do it's rarely of my human characters. So the human "portraits" in this are actually just cropped from their full body refs but whatever.
I'm still practicing shading skin and human facial features. The planes of the face are a struggle.

Here's that #art I promised. I haven't drawn much recently because I've been job hunting and trying to move back to my hometown and driving three hours every weekend and a lot of my creative time and energy has been spent on an #animatic I'm trying to make but I've done a little bit of stuff.

I was really experimental and pushed myself into some crazy places this year with environments and lighting. Especially in these last couple of months. It's been really fun and therapeutic but I know I still have lots to learn. #procreate #artists #ocart

As a trans guy I have so many trans men/transmasc characters.
I trend towards, as I call it, "Guy-Lite" which is somewhere in between a transman and a demiboy, but I have a few full transmen I just like an element of gender fuckery in my trans characters. (Gee I wonder why.)((Is himself Guy-Lite))
This is Mike. He's one of my fullblooded transmen. He's 36, dubiously blonde-ginger, works as an audio manager for a concert hall and is currently divorced from his boyfriend because of his own emotional issues. This is Zerach, He's one of my Guy-Lite characters. They're heavily traumatized, but doing well in therapy and he likes to cosplay as a Thylacine superhero called Tazzy Tiger sometimes. He was born and raised in America but moved to Australia for school and work. I know it says unnamed but he has been named since this art and his name is now Ploverpaw! He's going to be going to a Warriors RP I just joined. He's a dilute tabby calico. I guess he counts as a true transman but he's just a little boy so I forget to include him in that category in my mind. This is Zak! He's also technically Guy-Lite but he's more Guy then Lite. He's a mechanic working for a summer camp and living out of his truck.

My style changes a lot and I love experimenting with painting techniques and lighting and environments. I also do a lot of character designs and references.

There's a lot of influences that went into my art. Treasure Planet, Spiderverse, other cartoons, my friends and more.
