-I don't have a particularly strong attachment to any of the characters yet, but the story is making up for it with intrigue.
-This game is loaded with new mechanics and new ways to have you interact with the world. They were clearly sitting on some ideas that didn't quite fit the Yakuza games.

I've been playing Judgement and I have some takeaways:
-The Yakuza/Like a Dragon format works incredibly well with a detective story.
-This series continues to be a strong argument for reusing the same open world map. I'm deeply familiar with Kamurocho by now and the city is dense with memories.

Clair Obscur came about because Director Guillaume Broche was bored at Ubisoft.
He had a passion for JRPGs and went for a dream by reaching out to Reddit and forums to find staff to help him.
It takes a lot of self belief to leave a job for a gamble. Inspiring!
