late report: the taste was good (added hatch chiles to offset sweetness a bit), but the execution was off. the “wrap” just broke into pieces, like a floppy tortilla chip? oh well.

today’s singular goal was to do ALL the hot things before noon: ran at a mach turtle pace; mowed just the front yard; and cooked lunch with leftovers. mission accomplished.

unrelated to anything, spent the day in the sun watching kids launching rockets in a field in virginia. am sunburnt and tired and, oof, traffic home was a bitch, but the nephew’s team did well!
mostly bright colored rocket bits: a pink parachute, a red tail, purple upper bit, an orange parachute, a white tail — all jumbled on an animal print beach towel with a bag of mostly eaten old bay goldfish nearby.
