Through personal reflection on her family history, Amy explored how art, memory, & AI intertwine & what it means to preserve our own stories in the digital age!

On Tuesday, Jon Jon Wesolowski helped us reimagine our communities. While gaining a better understanding of Low-Traffic Neighborhoods, we learned the ways cities like Barcelona, London, and Hamburg have effectively improved their streets. Thank you to @openplans.org for collaborating on this event!

Meanwhile, at the back of the building, a wall has come down to even out the rear façade — a key move that opens up more space and brings clarity and cohesion to the overall structure, boasting a new terrace and a new, larger garden space 🪻 🌿

Big things are also happening above and below: Between the 3rd and 4th floor, ceilings are being taken out to make way for a stunning two-story Common Room that will connect the private quarters of our future fellows with the public areas—a light-filled, welcoming space for creativity, and exchange.

An emotional moment in the process so far was the careful removal of the beautiful wood paneling from our Auditorium. The paneling will be meticulously refurbished and lovingly reinstalled in the new design — honoring the past while stepping boldly into a vibrant next chapter.
