truly nothing like not having a dedicated librarian so you spend days verifying your libraries until "manufacturer" stops looking like a word in your schematic symbol parameters and your eyes glaze over from the bright colors of the footprint library

sometimes the silkscreen work my senior coworkers do makes me feel genuinely depressed. please tell me why you put the parts designator inside of a drill hole, individual with 20 years of experience

altium's keyboard shortcuts and customizable shortcuts are such a godsend for this reason. i love not using my mouse to run commands
every year I become slightly more convinced all professional software needs customizable popup menus + accelerator keys
because only when you have instant access to all tools using software stops being such a chore and you can start playing with it like a kid

best parts of having a great relationship with your PCB manufacturer:
1) the helpful insight they provide on things like "what's the best way for us to convey this really weird board shape?"
2) spending an hour visiting their main office to talk about designer horror stories while picking orders up
