I am not live posting the whole argument here because I want to listen closely to Trump v. Slaughter. But the solicitor general for Trump just said the point here in killing the independence of agencies like the FTC is that executive branch officers must “fear and obey” the president. Wow. #SCOTUS

Trip 39 to DC may be my last. I've said that to myself on every trip, now I'm saying it out loud. The truth is, it's extremely difficult on my body to make these journeys & always act like it's the last one. I know how CRUCIAL it is to have YOUR voice heard & will virtually advocate & NEVER GIVE UP!

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

This really is grotesque: they went through years-long citizenship processes and are now being denied simply because if the country they are from. It’s formalized bigotry.
