t’was tattoo day today. spent a couple hours on the octopus and effectively completing the cover-up. thanks to @zebrafiinches.bsky.social for what will inevitably be a masterpiece 😀
a shot of potzer lying face down on a tattoo table. the frame is zoomed in a focused on its right leg and calf. its shorts are pulled up above the knee and the frame stops at the top just short of the potzer’s butt with its foot at the bottom of the frame. on potzer’s calf is a tattoo of an octopus. its head starts just below the knee ditch and with one of its eyes in the middle of the calf. tentacles and chains stretch up, down, and around the leg in various directions. the main focus from this angle is the head which is textured in a way that reminds me of ceramic roof tiles - arched semi-circle tiles layered on top of one another leaving a small dome shaped gap between each tile. in this shot the “gaps” are completely filled in with black ink while the “tiles” are currently only lined in without shading. (i hope that makes any sense) the rest of the octopus and other visible parts are unshaded same as the first pic but a slightly different angle same as the first pic but at more of an angle, getting more view of the tentacles running up the inside of the leg a shot of potzer standing up, shorts on the right leg pulled up to reveal a much larger portion of the entire tattoo but cutting off the left side of the octopus due to the angle but also showing more of the chains and waves on the outside of the leg that make contact with the sea serpent that is not visible
