先日読み終えた、前口憲幸『能登半島記（未完）』（時事通信社）。震災が起きた2024年1月から、豪雨による水害が発生した同年10月まで、北陸中日新聞社の七尾支局長が書いたコラムをまとめたもの。
メディア環境が激変するなかで、ジャーナリズムについても様々な試みがなされているのだが、やはりその原点はこうやって地域を歩き、そこに暮らす人びとの声を拾い上げていく、あえて言えば泥臭いところにあるのだろうと思う。
被災者の目線で書かれた文章は、決して流麗ではないが、だからこそ伝えられるものがあるようにも思う。
メディア環境が激変するなかで、ジャーナリズムについても様々な試みがなされているのだが、やはりその原点はこうやって地域を歩き、そこに暮らす人びとの声を拾い上げていく、あえて言えば泥臭いところにあるのだろうと思う。
