going through holidays alone is something i’m not sure i’ll ever get used to. it’s difficult not to get lost in how dark that can feel, so i took myself on a quiet little date, and although i still feel very ✨not good✨ i’m a little proud of myself for not letting that consume me quite as much.

the way i put something off for weeks and anxious about it for just as long, just for the thing to take five minutes and be relatively painless. like why is this a lesson i’ll never learn? 😭
