What a healing season. Baseball, especially in these days of accelerating fascism, is of little significance. Additionally, personal priorities have changed in recent years, and I had largely lost touch with the game. I found my way back this spring, and it remains a strong redirection of attention.

Maybe the 10-game losing streak ultimately becomes too much for the Guardians’ record to overcome, but what a special immediate response. 19-7 since, despite losing two key pitchers to the most controversial topic in baseball and nearly trading their second-best player in the meantime.

Unsurprisingly, Kwan stays. Thrilled about Khal Stephen. Sewald is no real loss. Get Kayfus and DeLauter up shortly, and try to make a run. I think they will.

He is probably their fourth-best hitter (hysterical), but I feel like Cleveland could move Schneemann for a return of note. He will be 29 in January and I am not compelled by him.
