Refusing to pay SNAP is a dry run for canceling it all together. They will hold out then say, "See no one died, non-profits stepped up. We dont need government assistance programs". This is the plan to kill welfare.

When I explain that boycotting an election over an issue has never once forced a politician to embrace that issue, I'm not "scolding people to vote." I'm explaining reality.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Then, oh, look: a shell detonated prematurely. Good thing Newsom had shut down 17 miles of freeway (used by 80,000 Californians daily).
