To be against genocide in Gaza means we have to oppose the structural oppression of capitalism, colonialism, and imperialism at the root of ongoing genocides in Sudan, Congo, and Tigray. No one is free until all of us are free. Free Palestine. Free Sudan. Free Congo. Free Tigray.

“When famine goes unrecorded, the suffering of entire populations is erased from the world’s moral and political map. It also weakens the mechanisms designed to prevent such atrocities elsewhere.”

As part of its 18-month siege of El Fasher, the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan dug a trench and built a sand berm around the city. Since RSF captured El Fasher, HRW documented and geolocated videos near the berm to the northwest — videos that could be used to prove crimes.

A war on health is a war on mothers.
This #WorldHealthDay 's theme—"healthy beginnings, hopeful futures"—isn't possible when 55%+ of mothers in Tigray face severe complications, increasing maternal deaths amid medical shortages.
Mothers deserve safety, not suffering.

The Ethiopian dictator Abiy Ahmed used aid as a weapon during the genocidal #WarOnTigray form Nov-2020 till Nov-2022 and no actions were taken against him, which set a dangerous precedence to the rest of the world. The #UN, #EU #US could have avoided this heinous but chose not to.

I used Ethiopia as a study case.
