I know Cutie Honey *definitely* has issues but the show does a good job of showing how ignorant and outdated misogyny is. Danbei says a lot of sexist shit but the show makes it clear he's an out of touch old man who constantly eats his words.
Also Cutie Honey is hardly perfect but it DOES have stuff to say about how women are treated in society and sexism.

I really don't understand this argument when Cutie Honey and Cutey Honey Flash have similar structures. Both series have a monster of the day action format much like Sailor Moon which is... *drum roll* also a magical girl series.
Haven't seen the video but I have an issue with the post. Cutie Honey ain't a Magical Girl series in general. She is closer to Kamen Rider and Kikaider than Sailor Moon and PreCure.
