So sad to see David Lynch died. One of the greatest to ever do it. I have been so lucky to have his movies in my life, even some that I only first watched in 2024, but became instant favorites, like Lost Highway and The Straight Story. Incredibly huge loss to the creativity in the world.

The most hilarious moment in the most recent episode of Survivor (s47e12) is when Sue, who for some reason has decided to not remove ANY of the dirt on her skin, tells Caroline to wipe the dirt off her chin. I’m still laughing about it days later.

When did we collectively stop calling them “Music Videos” in favor of “Visuals”? I first saw this several years ago, and it seems like that’s how publications refer to them now.

Spoke too soon. It loads new posts how I want, but doesn’t remember my previous position. Just loads at the top and I have to scroll backward to find where I was. Is this so difficult that no iOS Bluesky app can figure it out? Twitteriffic and Tweetbot apps did, Ivory for Mastodon did.
Did I find an app that will actually remember my feed position? If this actually works correctly, I will probably start using Bluesky instead of Mastodon, which would be great since all the film people I follow are here and I’ve been missing those people since leaving Twitter.
