I’ve been spending more time on Thr*ads recently, but hoping to break away from things owned by Meta. Is the 92% here yet?

This picture from 2020 is still on point. Every damn summer, a simultaneous COVID surge and climate-fueled heatwave.

Even if you have a cute little garden you won't produce enough to live or feed a family in a societal collapse. You will always need other people. You will have to work your ass off every day and fight men at the same time. Y'all don't put laundry away for days.

It is not lost on the voting bloc of African Americans, the swiftness with which all of the incremental progress that we have won *for all people* through blood, death, organization, protest, civil and uncivil unrest & of course voting, is dashed away in an instant at the whim of white establishment

Budget vice chair: “I think that DEI in a lot of people’s minds is divisiveness, exclusion and indoctrination. We need more unity and togetherness, more dialogue, more diversity of thought.”

There was an earthquake today, felt in NJ, CT and Staten Island. Apparently it’s 4.8 on the scale. Definitely caught me offguard!

Ring’s police partnership were a clusterfuck from day one. I’ve never investigated a company more at ease with turning cops into PR assets. It’s like they watched Robocop and couldn’t tell who the villain was.

This Garcelle & Dorit convo on #RHOBH is so awkward and uncomfortable. Especially because theyre both so intent on being politically correct instead of addressing the issues honestly

My hot take on #50YearsOfHipHop is that everyone missed an opportunity to highlight the creativity of NYCHA residents. There should be a fund for providing music/art lessons for those interested, as well as teaching basic contract law.
