there have been two recent incidents at our local high schools of kids bringing loaded guns. one gun was left in the car, where it was stolen, & people are saying the perpetrator is a victim. the other was in a backpack & the kid tried to grab the officer’s gun when it was discovered.

I let my mom’s bf take her to her treatment today bc I cannot kick this cold. shocking that I just got a call from the neuro clinic wondering where she is. they said she made it to her labs but she’s now 25 min late for her appt w her oncologist 🙂

I was ready to drag my mom’s oncologist into the whole moving out fiasco today. then she was nowhere to be found when I went to pick her up. no answer to multiple calls. had to park & go inside. had a v disconcerting chat w the receptionist & found her in the dining hall. the gloves are coming off

our bedroom has been a hodgepodge of crap ever since the reno where we closed off a doorway & turned cj’s nursery into the primary. I spent all morning straightening it out in there & now it’s functional for the first time in idk 2+ years? 👏

I had a follow up w the plastic surgeon today & we decided to wait until the new year to operate. I finally got a quote though & it was better than expected!! so maybe one day my lip won’t be so fucked up 🥲
