I truly believe people would come down harder on Arc Raiders for using AI if they knew it's a Nexon game, which a lot of its fans don't seem to be aware of. People hate on Nexon for their recent AI ambitions, but forget Arc Raiders is the testing ground.

All of those shorthands and tests ruin people's media literacy. There is an episode of Seinfeld where all women only bicker about shoes. It passes the Bechdel test, and is quite sexist... as long as you don't consider the meta commentary about men writing women.

In the replies you'll see what I was telling you - that AI has become such poisonous term that people will deny genAI is genAI. They will call it TTS or something else. Hell, even in the disclosure they add "procedural" tool to soften the blow of genAI tools. They never say "generative AI".
Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
