Wowzers, what a great time to pick up my itchio exclusive titles! These tend towards the dark and fucky, so if that's your cup of post-thanksgiving tea, go, go, go!

Jethro Tull Tickseed still going strong. The blanket flowers have a bunch of new heads on them, but I think they will soon be done for the season, though I still see the odd bee on them.

It’s pouring! I almost forgot the sound of it hitting the roof, it’s been so long.

Finally gave up on my last pumpkin getting any bigger. So, four plants and each yielded one pumpkin. A sad showing. Banana for scale.

The Howl jacket, in all its glory.

Now I can never see again, as I have sewn my masterpiece and nothing shall approach its greatness 🔥

After a decade of meaning to, I’ve finally started on a Howl jacket for my sibling.

Very rusty sewing skills, only 5 more days to finish it, all thrifted material (including vintage pattern that is missing the sleeves 😑). Wish me luck.

That said, I’m pleased with today’s progress.

Baked feta & butternut squash on the menu tonight, featuring garlic I grew myself (my butternut squash is still only 2” long, so it’s local squash instead).

I thought I was just pulling some weeds from my bed, since the greens had been eaten off and it was just bare stalks, but it turns out I grew three very smol dragon carrots. 😅

The blanket flowers are really filling out. Hyssop has been a bit lacklustre, though doing better since I moved them to the left vs centre. Tickseed are lovely.

Something has been going to town on the dead hedge. Woodpecker or raccoon are where I’m leaning.

Also had two female pumpkins bloom this week that I was able to hand pollinate. I’m hoping cooler & less dry weather will have these two surpass my older two pumpkins (that have stalled out at about softball size for the last month).

My pepper plant has yet to bear fruit, but I’m so pleased with how well and its companion nasturtiums look.

Also, my 75% off pollinators are thriving.

Reading a book with seduction via yard work, and as I spend day four of wiggle this giant rock 6’ to the left, I can’t help but feel like seductive yard work is brilliant.

A decent amount of rain last night 🌧️ 💕.

The lone plum, in spite of the tree being full of blossoms that weren’t immediately battered off by the rain. It was delicious.

Everything has fresh buds on it now. Discount plants FTW.

Pulled my garlic finally. 2 look decently sized, the rest are woefully small. Better luck next year, I guess.

Meanwhile, I have 2 female flowers between my 3 pumpkins that I’ve hand pollinated with the many male flowers they’ve produced. It’s a pumpkin bukkake orgy over here.
