I keep seeing people say they are glad to see "sanity" back in government and I fail to see the sanity. What I see is hatred and exclusion. Maybe that's what they think is sane? What a sad state of affairs.

I found out yesterday our office is closed on Monday. The kiddo and I will be at the local Thai place enjoying some curry during lunch. Whatever else is going on at that time will have to happen without us.

I did not feel the Christmas spirit this year. Just spent the morning scrubbing most of the decor from my home. Can't wait for hubby to get up and get this tree outta here.

The first time I ever voted was for Ronald Reagan when he was running against Jimmy Carter in 1980. Why? Because Reagan liked jelly beans and so did I. I was 8. Luckily I've matured since then. I registered as a Democrat at 18 and I am a Democrat even today. #RIPJimmyCarter

Thanks to a GLP-1 and 9 months of hard work I do not have to make a "lose weight" New Years resolution this year - first time since puberty. Now what? Read more books? Save money? Resist harder? I'm taking suggestions.
