@microsoft.com #Windows should look at hiring Dave Plummer back as a consultant to help them get people to love Windows (or at least hate it less). Tons of great points in this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTpA...

#Intune finally supports native PowerShell scripts for Win32 app installs. No more wrapping scripts inside .intunewin files. You can update scripts without repackaging and choose 32 or 64 bit. Way cleaner and easier to manage.
PowerShell Script Support Added for Win32 Intune App Deployment
PowerShell script support has been added directly to the Intune app deployment Wizard. Learn why this is a great improvement.

Hey #microsoft, what did you do to Teams on iPad. Unusable!! Even worse than the awful UI update in the spring. I can no longer see my favourite channels. I have to use search and type in the name of the channel. What the hell? Please fix!! Oh, and the new icon is terrible, much harder to find.

IIRC Intune only got the “minimum OS”option for 24H2 a matter of weeks ago. Now 25H2 is GA. Sweepstake on how long it’ll take to appear in Intune?

A quick glance through these docs, and like many existing migration tools - there's a lot of gotchas to be aware of. Overall, this is going to significantly improve migration and become easier over time.

Very excited to see these new capabilities :)

Please stop using Private browser sessions for cloud admin accounts

Look, we all know we shouldn't be using admin accounts while signed into our productivity account, but if you're gonna do it, at least use browser profiles so you can enforce compliance

Think you need half the #MSGraph SDK just to get anything useful? Good news: you really only need one module.

In my new post I show how I find the right endpoint in Graph Explorer, pull it into #PowerShell, and get results without the bloat.

If you're vibe coding, or even AI-assisted, keep your API tokens, creds, private URLs, keys, etc. in a vault and not exposed in your code where the AI vacuum will instantly slurp it all up. #powershell 'Microsoft.PowerShell.SecretManagement' module and extension modules are one (very good!) option.

Is there a way to actually diagnose "black screen with cursor" after wake from sleep?? Cursor moves, but choppy. Can't open task manager, ctrl-alt-del does nothing, have to hard reset. Affecting several identical laptops. There are a lot of generic 'fixes' but I actually want to know the cause.

My org is looking to reduce our attack surface by blocking remote access tools (RATs) on our Windows 11 devices. Probably with AppLocker. Has anyone got a walkthrough setting up something similar, and/or got a good list of commonly abused RATs (AnyDesk, ScreenConnect, TeamViewer, etc)???
