@matsuzawa.bsky.social I expanded my inro collection recently and wanted to share it with you. The inro with the cormorant is by Hasegawa Shigeyoshi. The crane inro (and netsuke) by Kajikawa. The lacquer work in both is still amazing despite being from the 19th century. 🥰

And, if you can, please donate to the foundation. It has survived the internet enshittification that way.
wikipedia's data shows that AI is siphoning traffic away from the site, which is a danger to its sustainability. ironically Wikipedia is more important than ever to users who want reliable information instead of slop, and to AI companies that need it for training data www.404media.co/wikipedia-sa...

Germany has, unfortunately, reversed its position back to undecided.

folks in the EU, but GERMANS ESPECIALLY, need to call your MEPs about Chat Control and urge them to oppose this proposal!

find your MEP below and yell at them!

Yeah, so this? Belgium is still trying to stop it. They've been burning food and medicines rather than letting it reach the people who desperately need it. Trump administration at its finest.

Belgian postal services have temporarily suspended mail to the USA. Hard to imagine this happening in our modern day and age. They're trying setting us back by centuries.

You'll also save people getting annoyed because I honestly prefer to wait to see what someone wants before i react. But then you have these people who let the hi just sit there until you say something back. Just get to the point.

Good to say it out loud, but at this point in time, isn't it almost a duty to step up and fight those who are trying to dismantle what good there is left?

I mean, I definitely don't blame her for wanting to step back and not wanting to get burned. She probably deserves a break.
Seeing Kamala Harris openly say that the system is broken was so powerful.

Just having someone in her position say it so candidly without qualification was beyond powerful.
