For the record, do I think a one-day boycott is going to make much of an economic impact? No. Do I think that a sort of "Baby's First Boycott," performative though it is, might be useful to make some folks aware of the impact of their economic power, and how it might be wielded politically? Maybe.

[he gets up gently wiping the drool away so sand won’t end up in Vash’s mouth while he sleeps. Eventually he falls asleep too getting in a few hours before the sun comes up]
( the way vash was sprawled out and resting would make it hard to believe this guy is the ‘ humanoid typhoon ‘, really. he snores lightly, drool dribbling down his chin and catching in the sand )
