In her ruling, US District Court Judge Karin Immergut said the Trump administration violated the 10th Amendment, and failed to provide evidence that activation of Oregon's National Guard was necessary. The temporary restraining order will be in effect until October 18.

Earlier tonight, city & state leaders warned about an increased number of federal agents dispatched around Portland. They cautioned residents not to "take the bait." About 2 dozen protesters are posted up outside the ICE facility in Portland. So far, things are quiet; no clashes.
