ngl I hate the outrage about painting old furniture
“you ruined it!” no, they *decorated* a piece of furniture they wouldn’t otherwise use.
plenty of ppl would buy an unfinished version to paint instead, but that doesn’t exist as readily and cheaply as Aunt May’s hand-me-down antiques.

took a sick day with my boss's enthusiastic permission but still feel so anxious about it, even though i was watching my inbox for anything pressing and responded to a few messages throughout the day

A+ honestly. The croissant itself was a good croissant to start, fresh and tasty. then waffle-izing it made it nice and warm but did not compress the flaky layers too much. I wondered if the waffle iron would make it crispy but it did not, it’s a soft warm croissant.

Went to the Minnesota State Fair again, happy to report that the croffle cloud is delicious. perfect size for one person with a not-big stomach but also comes split in two to share. No pics because as soon as I got it I had to flee Spinning Wylde before a bee decided to kamikaze into my cotton candy
