My infusion costs $32,500/month. I’m supposed to feel grateful for Patient Assistance. How about charging what the mixture of chemicals in the bag actually cost? BTW, not one single Medicare Advantage plan will cover this drug.
I don't condone what Luigi Mangione did, but I understand the frustration and anger that drove him to do it.
We pay thousands of dollars for health insurance, only to have the insurance companies deny us coverage if their algorithm considers us expendable.
