3.5 stars. I enjoyed it but it fell a little flat for me. The spirits of Peter and Ruth were interesting. The ending needed more.

Did I start and finish this book today? Yes yes I did. What an amazing book. 5/5. Also I'm glad it is 2 books and not a trilogy. That's refreshing and prefect. So many ways a 2nd book can go wrong but this one did not. #TwoTwistedCrowns #RachelGillig

I'd give this book 3.5 out of 5 stars. The idea is great. A blizzard keeping you stuck with a horror on a mountain. It felt like it needed another 50 to 100 pages to add suspense and flesh out the ending. #Ararat

This was a wild ride. 5 stars. This was a perfect blend of some of my favorite genres. If you enjoy Gothic romances and psych horror/thriller run and read now you won't regret it. @authorkarinahalle.bsky.social I also love What Moves the Dead and have added Mexican Gothic to the list.
