the "kill em all" shit is bad and definitely illegal, but I feel like we're kind of missing the forest through the treeline.

in a different timeline, we'd be mainly discussing AI as an assistive technology. that seems to be its best use- something that can stimulate avenues of new thought, spark creativity, reduce the amount of time spent on tedium, democratize otherwise paywalled skill sets, etc.
