Alice is unimpressed with my idea for an ET sequel where ET comes back to find Elliot in college. ET uses his abilities to help Elliot and his friends. Hijinks ensue like ET heals their hangovers or telepathically helps the sports team. In the end Elliot learns about hard work and ET learns to relax

A James Bond TV show for a streaming service in 2025 is gonna be insufferable. Just 10 episodes of a guy that doesn't call himself either James Bond or 007 yet and then in the final episode, he orders a martini, shaken not stirred, and we all politely clap and Season 2 takes 5 years to come out

James Bond news is depressing. It's possible and perhaps even likely that an algorithm could generate ideas like "What if James Bond does parkour?" and "Star Wars is popular - what if we send Bond to space?" but it's more fun when it's one eccentric family calling these shots.

The world is clamoring for more muppets. But disney refuses to use them for anything but promoting their other properties, probably because puppeteers are unionized and you can't replace them with a non-union vfx worker like every other aspect of their movie production
