I got James a fun rhyming book where the cat in the hat teaches kids about the planets in our solar system, and he was enjoying it until the cat said the outer 4 planets were all gas giants, and James had to go get out another book to show me that actually Uranus and Neptune are *ice* giants

The Windows lock screen actually showed me something cute for once, so I clicked the “like what you see?” button and it said “log in to learn more!” Then after I logged in, Edge automatically opened on a Bing search for “turtle” 🙃

at my parenting group, the icebreaker was to say one thing you did this week just for yourself, and I said I played this puzzle game where you design chip circuits, because it uses my brain in a way that lets me tune everything else out, and another mom was like "oh, so that's where James gets it"
