the hater's council just vetoed this actually.

"a real hater hates attention seekers by ignoring them" wise words from one hater elder.

"hate reading is for homework dorks" said another senior hater on condition of anonymity as this statement was a compound diss targeting other council members

Noting that she equates nick fuentes, who hates Israel because he's a nazi propagandist, with Al Jazeera, an internationally recognized news network that continues to cover Israel critically despite Israel killing 10 of their journalists and 270 total journalists in the last 3 years alone
Sharing the video of this because it’s such a ghoulish thing to say that I’m honestly in disbelief that I even heard her properly

Mark rightly identifies here one of the most concerning but thus far underdiscussed elements of this white paper – it seems to imply that Article 3 (which prohibits torture and inhuman or degrading treatment) should be made a qualified right. That is, in my view, genuinely terrifying.

A petty pear drama in a cooking magazine? A trial to empiracally prove who's right??? this is the perfect thread
Folks, I did it. I made the Cooks Illustrated competing pear crisps, and then I made my friends judge them blind.

I have already had several lawyers (former and present) reach out to thank me for my bravery in writing this piece. It's astonishing that stating such an obvious truth (that the judiciary cannot avoid the prejudices of the society it operates within) requires courage at all.
"As someone working in law, it’s heresy to say this, and it might even kill my chances of a career... But as a trans person, and someone fighting for the rights of my community, I refuse to remain silent. To me it just seems obvious: a heavily prejudiced society produces prejudiced institutions."
It’s no surprise that only 31% of trans people trust a legal system built to enforce prejudice, says Jess O’Thomson.

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

cutting off SNAP and keeping the government closed and deploying ICE everywhere is a political strategy designed to make everything more dangerous and frightening and violent, because scared angry people, in their calculation, are more likely to vote for donald trump's republican party

Additionally, a lot of too-online racists cannot imagine other ways of interacting with society beyond "buying things" or "watching tv", so a multiracial advert appears as an existential threat. the rest of us have better things to do than watch the adverts!
I think this is absolutely right. Also, so many of these guys do actually understand that 'a mixed-race family in an advert' is there to sell people things. They absolutely cannot stand that some minorities are successful. It is resentment all the way down.
Think one of the key things why adverts are such a thing with them is that people in ads are usually enjoying themselves and having a nice life; seeing non-white people be happy is something that drives your typical racist absolutely mad

Twitter now is an endless parade of gutter racists (including some broadcasters!) trying to justify complaints about the ratio of nonwhite people on tv ads, as if it is a real problem that any normal viewer has ever thought about for one second of their real life

guys we all know this article is a vehicle for affiliate marketing because the funding model for journalism is dead, right? they give it a ragebait title so you'll look at the ten insanely expensive versions of perfectly normal items and hopefully buy them.
This article is interesting mainly for blowing your mind as to how Americans don’t use the most basic of kitchen items like tea towels, a kettle, a pepper mill, etc 🤯
10 international kitchen staples most Americans haven’t caught on to yet
From French tea towels to Japanese knives, these international kitchen finds will make you ask: ‘Why don’t we have that?’
