A reporter asked me about queer comics history and I got to say my favorite fact: Tom of Finland was doing a brisk business making gay comics in the 1940s at the same time Superman, Batman and Captain America were at their peak.
Thinking how queer people have been making comics about queerness since as long as there have been comics. It's an essential part of the history of the medium, and I love that so much.

it is my solidly held principle that death--even violent, early death--is not a suitable reason to grant forgiveness. if nothing else than because it says that literally any action is okay, great, even, as long as somebody is willing to end you for it. and honestly: the fuck kind of world is that
one of the reasons I like horror is that it CAN grant forgiveness, but. it never demands it
quietly realizing that this Halloween comic is not just fun, but maybe also also revenge against people I hated that hurt me and my friends in high school
