I was shocked and disappointed to learn this week that Vancouver Fashion Week is showcasing SHEIN... not as a threat to our planet with its overproduction and ever-growing climate impact. .

NOPE....Vancouver Fashion Week is featuring SHEIN as a DESIGNER.
Speechless.
Seriously.
WTF.

We are not shaming people for shopping from SHEIN. We are talking about SHEIN because its success is pushing the fashion industry to make clothing a lot faster and more quasi-disposable. If shopping online if your thing you can still be environmentally conscious and find great unique pieces!

Did you know as much as 20% to 35% of all primary source microplastics in the marine environment are from synthetic textiles? Shop second hand! Source those natural material pieces for half the cost and give new life to a re-worn item!!
