If there is one thing you can count on, it's for this administration to make the wrong choice at every opportunity.

Like a lot of people of my generation, I spent a lot of my youth thinking about where I might be and what I might be doing when it all came crashing down in flames. Turns out, it's laundry.

Ortho: "We could also give you a cortisone injection, but that's mostly just going to help with pain."

Me: "No thanks. I would rather feel the pain, because how else am I going to know to stop before I hurt myself worse?"

Ortho: 😐

Me: 😀

Ortho: "Actually, fair enough. I can run with this."

The guy that owns the tree company that we used at the new house sounds like he's from Boston and looks like Vanilla Ice. I am not going to demand that a stranger disclose their political affiliation, but I do try to avoid giving money into the Trump ecosphere if I can. [1/2]

Took our senior dog to the groomer this morning, and they absolutely butchered her back end. She's double-coated, and the damage can take years to repair. So, if anyone needs me, I'll be crashing out about how my dog's bad haircut may outlive her. I'm not ready for her to be this old.

Today's QC (by @ass.golf) hit a little close to home. I like to think I'm a generally little less scatterbrained than normal-state Willow, though.

I'm aware it probably seems a little silly to be posting about cabinet cleaner when everything is on fire. But if you weren't already aware that everything is on fire, me posting about it isn't going to change that.

Before we actually took possession of our house, we had never been in the home without a member of the family that previously owned it present. That was an enormous mistake that we will not make in the future, because after we had the keys in hand we realized that they were a pack of gremlins. (1/2)
