Given that peace prizes are being awarded to an unworthy recipient, I feel I deserve one as well. It's such an honour. 😜

Just a couple of, "I was bored" photos. 😁
The female western rosella tried to hide from me. She did a pretty good job at it. I did like how the photo of the hare's tail grass came out. Not too bad for a weed pic.

I didn't have him on my bingo card as a maggot.

GWN (Western Australia's regional news) used 3 of my photos for their story about the Aurora Australis. This is the 4th time they've used various images of mine for their stories. I'm just a little chuffed. 🤩

Some images I took of the Aurora Australis this evening (12th November) at approximately 8:40pm. There was only an hour window of opportunity then thick cloud drifted in, as well as light drizzle. Photos taken at Emu Point.

There's a bushfire near Denmark (Western Australia) at the moment. This gave me a chance to photograph the sun, through the smoke, and to expose the #sunspots.

I didn't realised spearmint milk was a Western Australian thing. It's still one of my favourite flavoured milks to drink. There's nothing better than drinking a spearmint milk on a hot summers day.

An article explaining why Australians do what we do when it comes to our elections. From preferential voting to the independent AEC (Australian Electoral Commission). Even why we still use pencils to mark our ballot paper.

You may see Aussies being light-hearted about magpie season and the dangers that it brings. But the scenario for permanent damage is all too real. It seems every year someone looses an eye. Be careful out there when walking near a nest.

These squatters don't take long to set up camp. 🐝 I left to do some grocery shopping, then I come home an hour later to see this! The bees have made their home on the front fence, near the garage door. I've called a bee keeper, and he said he'll hopefully come by in about an hour. 🤞

TA-DA! I finished the Willy Wonka Lego set. It's a cute set with little references to the movie. I personally like the daffodil tea cups. Of course, I had to place Augustus Gloop on the edge of the chocolate river. Oh, and the chocolate waterfall moves ... with a bit of help.

My first Flanders #poppy has bloomed from seed!! Being someone who can kill a plant by just looking at it, this is a huge accomplishment for me. 😁 There's quite a few more pods to bloom, so I'm hoping to see more before they get pinched by a passers-by or two.

My plan today was housework. But the universe had other ideas. I decided to 3D print something before housework. What happened next has taken me 2hrs for me to eventually give up. Two filament rolls decided to unravel. The battle was too much. I don't want to do housework now. I want chocolate. 🙁
