The following thread at #Reddit hits me in the heart:
1️⃣ A #DataEngineer posted about feeling like a failure—constantly confused, no guidance, unrealistic deadlines.
2️⃣ They miss using their #coding skills and feel stuck between business tasks and tech work.

The Road Less Traveled...
Sometimes, we tend to follow conventional wisdom and ignore the fact that change is a part of life.
This #DataViz shows that having a top-aligned axis might be a good practice as labels and highlights are more likely to be in the reader's field of view.

The magic happens in the overlaps:
#Programming & #BigData connects engineers and analysts
✨ Analysis & Hypothesis Development/Testing drives model development and decision-making
#Storytelling & #Visualization brings insights to life!

In a recent post "Skills vs. AI skills" ( "https://towardsdatascience.com/skills-vs-ai-skills/), Dr. Tosic shared tips on using #AI:
🧠Experiment with multiple AI models.
🧠Understand AI failures and how to evaluate outputs.
🧠Use low-code or no-code platforms to create, not just consume, AI products.

In three months, Jessie Mahr led the nation’s most coordinated effort to archive federal datasets and rebuild data tools that communities, companies, agencies and investors rely on to inform decisions involving weather, water quality, disasters, air pollution, and climate change.

Just read this from an influencer I follow on LinkedIn: Deep domain expertise plus alien-level technical skills equals lots of interesting and rewarding work to do.
Do you agree?

✔️ Creating high-quality, customizable visualizations with ggplot2, plotly, etc
✔️ Spatial analysis using sf, tmap, and leaflet
✔️ Automating reports & workflows with rmarkdown and GitHub Actions
✔️ Extending workflows with #AI tools like GitHub Copilot, chatgpt, or OpenAI APIs
People think R is just for stats. But it also shines in many areas:
✔️ Pulling and cleaning data from Google Sheets (googlesheets4), Qualtrics surveys (qualtRics), Census Bureau APIs (tidycensus), and transforming with dplyr + tidyr;

Deploying tools or KPIs is easy. We often rely on them to simplify the decision-making process. Are managers making good decisions? That is a business question. A tool, #dashboard, or #KPI should not be a substitute for aligning #data and people to work together effectively.

Arvind Narayanan's new book opening. The analogy of "Vehicle" to "Artificial Intelligence" (#AI) truly captures what we are going through right now.

#caret really makes beginner's life way much easier. You can run a random forest model with only one line of syntax.
library(caret)
model <- train(Species ~ ., data = iris, method = "rf")
#PyCrat is very close to the #caret package in R. There is a very good documentation of the #PyCrat package for free at pycaret.gitbook.io/docs. #PyCrat is designed to simplify and automate workflows for building, training, and deploying machine learning models.

#AI can be our best companion—if we know the fundamentals—allowing us to stand on the shoulders of #AI and the vast knowledge base built by previous programmers on #GitHub, #StackOverflow, and #StackExchange. #Copilot #GoogleColab

I was analyzing the 50-day vs. 200-day moving average using #Python when I encountered some errors. I turned to #AI for quick solutions. I could not be more excited about all what is available at my fingertips in mini-seconds. #Copilot #GoogleColab

Can @bsky.app verify this? I kept hearing we're entering the 💰 #GoldenAgeofAmerica - am I on an #AlternateReality?

I’m just a humble two-legged mammal trying🥵 to feed a family — with #ZeroInterestInPolitics, no red or blue wines. Just wondering: is there a magic way for surviving this💰 #GoldenAge?
This is the consequences when we chose the wrong

Can @bsky.app or anyone credible check the story being pushed for publication? Does this happen randomly or regularly?

I’m a #DataNerd who started worrying about food🍕 supplies for my kids this fall. Will my kids have anything to eat when these farmers take an unpaid vacation🏖️? #GoldenAgeofAmerica💰

I was told we’re entering the💰 #GoldenAgeofAmerica -so I assume imported groceries (funded by #tariffs magically paid by foreigners, of course) will be falling from the sky any minute now?
Should I even bother #shopping? Or just wait outside with a basket and hope for a #sandwich🥪 and #pizza🍕 storm?

That’s fine. Society doesn’t need *checks notes* food, right?

Your struggle isn’t weakness. It’s proof you’re still in the fight. Don’t give up. The climb is brutal, but the view is worth it. #PositiveEnergy
