Another (long) update from me (yay!)
I am now in Week 9 of my one year course - 31 weeks left to go. Next week is the end of Term one and I have to say, this is one of the most compact and intense learning experiences I have ever had.

1 - College Aaron would have *never* done this.
2 - Professional Aaron couldn't get *anything* in on time.
Now I am consistently nailing stuff days early.

I only use FB for reels and political posts. Since Reels are just 2 week old Tik toks, I may as well make the jump.
It’s crazy it has taken only 2 months to kill my 18 year relationship with FB.

I’m in a first aid course today for school.
The person teaching is not great. They are asking questions we have no clue how to answer and then laughs when we guess wrong.
Also no structure, no room for questions, and random asides that have nothing to do with today.
A bit annoyed.

I am sitting here early before 8 - on the 19th day of classes. Over the last week I have worked in studios, TV Control rooms, and have gone on a 4 hour filming session where I was the director. It has been a lot of work... but all so fantastic.

Big day for me! I’m directing/leading an 8 person crew for a filming shoot. It’s kinda bonkers but totally ready for it!

Today has been an awesome day at school. We spent time in the studio control center where we learned to run live broadcast. I had a try at both mixing audio and controlling the camera feeds. Super basic but oh so cool.

I hate that the *moment* my feet start hurting (Plantar Fasciitis) I start getting ads targeting how to address them.

I’ll say that for the moment, I have a 50/50 shot at decent photos tonight. Lower clouds are clearing out. High clouds towards the horizon fade slowly moving through, but should break up as they get to land. I have an anxious 75 minutes until I find out.
