I rewatched Lost Highway the other day. Maybe Lynch’s most terrifying work. So much of it seems frothing with hate. Where he calls the Mystery Man at his house while simultaneously in front of him at a separate party is some of the most unsettling vibes I can recall.

Been trying hard to not to doom and gloom but man. It maybe worse than we thought it would be. I don’t foresee at any point these folks admitting any wrongdoing or failure. Just blind allegiance.
